A happy paddleboarder!
SALTWORKS SUP gives you the chance on the Isle of Man to try one of the fastest growing water sports. With its modern roots tracing back to the 1950's on Waikiki Beach Stand Up Paddleboarding is known, in Hawaiian, to "Ku Hoe He'e Nulu", which translates to - to stand, to paddle, to surf, a wave.
Today Stand Up Paddleboarding has many disciplines from yoga and fitness (it's a great workout) to surfing, racing and even white water.
Michelle Stewardson is a WSA (Water Skills Academy) Foundation SUP Coach who has also completed the WSA Rescue and Safety element to be able to deliver Stand Up Paddleboard training on the Isle of Man.
In addition, Michelle is also a PADI Staff Instructor who can also deliver Emergency First Response training. With a background in diving and experience gained from 13 years as a RNLI crew member and member of the RNLI's National Flood Rescue Team Michelle fully appreciates that safety is paramount in the delivery of Stand Up Paddleboarding courses.
